Established in 1997, SORTED Counselling Services is based in Dunstable and offers a range of free and confidential services for children and young people aged between 5 to 25 years in Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough and Luton.

The project is based at 81 High Street North in Dunstable and provides one to one counselling and group workshops for young people in schools and local community venues.

Sorted has organisational membership with BACP and follows the BACP Code of Ethics.

The organisation is managed by a Board of Trustees who employ a Director, and a small dedicated team of core part-time staff and sessional counsellors, who are supported by 14 volunteer counsellors.

Over the past five years the Sorted team has developed additional expertise in specialist areas - in play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, sexual and domestic abuse, self- harm, bereavement and trauma.
